From sun-kissed bronzers to luminous cheek colour, here are the beauty essentials for summer festivals.

Before you leave the house, make sure your make-up bag has these key beauty products set to make your visage shine.

Bronze To Go
Bronzers are the go-to option for a sun-kissed look. Lise Watier’s Havana Bronzing Powder ($32 CDN) gives a natural suntanned look with a velvety smooth finish. The non-drying silky texture is the reason I choose this brand for a festival day look. It’s long lasting and adds a radiant, sun-kissed glow.

Calming Caribbean
After a long day out in the sun, the most important thing to do is to pamper your skin. The Body Shop’s Virgin Mojito Limited Edition Body Care range brings the spa home. With lime and mint extracts from the Carribbean, the refreshing Virgin Mojito Body Butter ($20 CDN), Body Scrub ($22 CDN) and Body Sorbet ($15 CDN) are a gift your skin needs. This is definitely a summer essential.

Take Me to L.A.
Smashbox Cosmetics’s L.A. Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Color ($36 CDN) is one of the most promising new products I discovered this summer. Ranging from Silver Lake Sunset to Beverly Hills Blush, these creamy sticks blend on your cheek in one luminous swipe. I love the double-ended feature allowing a built-in sponge for blending. For a picture-perfect look, this creamy stick collection is a must-have.

Sun-Kissed
Vichy sunscreen lotions deliver results and you’re not left with a greasy residue.
