Steven Spielberg Visits India
Hollywood heavyweight Steven Spielberg, the acclaimed American film director, screenwriter, producer, and studio entrepreneur is reportedly set to make his first trip to India. During the trip Anil and Tina Ambani will be hosting an elaborate party to honor the success of Spielberg's latest Hollywood blockbuster: Lincoln. Produced by Reliance Dreamworks, (a property of Ambani's) the party is said to be a joint celebration taking into account the filtration of the Indian Film Industry into the global arena.
According to examiner.com, Spielberg had formed a partnership back in 2009 with the chairman of India's Reliance BIG Entertainment. Ambani gave Spielberg's DreamWorks Studios $875 million along with Walt Disney Co. and loans through a syndicate of banks.
bollywoodnazar.com reports that the big bash will take place on March 12th at the Ambani's colaba Residence.
No welcome to India could be complete without the presence of a few select Bollywood celebs. Among the exclusive A-list guest list are actors Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan along with directors Karan Johar, Rajkumar Hirani and sanjay leela bhansali to name a few.
Prior to the party Spielberg will be in talks with Bollywood screen legend Amithabh Bachchan who will be making his Hollywood debut in the upcoming 3D adaptation of 'The Great Gatsby', as well as the Indian film Association that consists of 400 actors, producers and directors reports timesofindia. The engagement will include a conversation segment that will be moderated by Bachchan himself.
