Salman Khan's latest release smashes all Eid box office records and entertains audiences worldwide!
We all know that a Salman Khan film is a hit film. This is basic knowledge in Bollywood cinema. Despite Salman's bad publicity over the past few weeks due to some uncalled for and controversial comments, the actor proves that he's the king of the box office and that he still rules the heart of millions worldwide.
On Eid, Yash Raj Films released its latest offering, Sultan, starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in the leads. Since the film's trailer hit the net, the buzz has been at an all-time high and the film's music teaser trailers boast of some big chartbusters.
Now this isn't new for Salman Khan; the Bollywood King has been turning out worldwide blockbusters on Eid for several years now. Here's a list of some of his past big budget, big earning Eid releases. . .
2016: Sultan

Of course, we needed to give you a reason to insert a trailer for this song, but really, this list cannot start with this year's fabulous film, Sultan. Good performances by Salman Khan, action and fights by Anushka Sharma and a killer soundtrack makde this a film worth every second and every penny.
2015: Bajrangi Bhaijaan

This film had everyone in tears…of happiness that is! One little lost girl, one gold-hearted fella and a great love story to boot. Bajrangi Bhaijaan had "hit" written all over it. It's been a clean sweep for this film at all the awards shows this season too.
2014: Kick

Seeing Salman Khan as a superhero was one of the only things fans never saw and waited to see for years. That's until 2014 that is! In tight spandex tights and bulging muscles, Kick took over the box office and even gave us some hit music to love too.
2012: Ek Tha Tiger

They were in love with each other in reel and real life, and we loved seeing them together. Ek Tha Tiger reminded us why we love these two on screen, off screen love birds. This film is a sure-fire classic.
2011: Bodyguard

Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been giving us hit films for a very, very long time. While the storyline of this film was kinda flimsy, the film managed to become one of the higgest grossers of the year, and a very, very big hit. It's the power of Salman I tell you!
2010: Dabangg

This film cemented Salman Khan's status for good, if anyone was doubting it. And it made a superstar of Sonakshi Sinha overnight. Also, who could forget "Munni Badnaam Hui", the song is still at the top of our playlists.
