Promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer awareness month. The importance of the annual campaign is to promote education on symptoms and treatment through early detection, thus reducing the stigma of breast cancer.
Early detection of breast cancer is associated with higher long-term survival rates but the optimal goal as always this time of year is to raise enough capital to be able to research and produce a reliable, permanent cure.
