Most Awaited Bollywood Weddings Of 2014

In 2013 we saw great glitz and glam of a few Bollywood weddings from the ever elegant Miss World Diana Hayden in the US to TV Actress Sargun Mehta in India.

We can expect 2014 to be equally as promising with some of our favourite Bollywood couples preparing to tie the knot. Since we’re not there in Tinseltown, we’ve been following our favourite friends across the globe to keep us abreast of the latest engagements, weddings and their possible locations.

Take a peek below at what is speculated for 2014:

1. Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra

According to indiaglitz.com, “After playing games with media, by going hush-hush over their relationship, Rani and Aditya has finally said to have agreed to get married. While it was a known fact that the actress and producer are very much a couple, they had maintained a high secrecy about their affair; given the fact that Rani had been a frequent guest at the Chopra's house and was also close to Aditya's father, legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra. Speculations were also rife that they had got engaged when Rani was spotted with a huge diamond ring on her finger.

And now, if sources are to be believed, then Rani and Aditya will tie the knot on 10th February at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. Talks are that Rani was very impressed with the venue when she first visited it for Nita Ambani's grand birthday that was hosted there this year. And thus, Rani decided to have her wedding at this place.

It is said that the wedding will be a very private affair and both the families are expecting complete privacy.”

2. Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu

“When Kareena Kapoor tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan, there was a lot of hype surrounding their nuptials. While big brother got all the attention, younger sister Soha Ali Khan and her long-time beau Kunal Khemu kept their relationship away from the media’s prying eyes. However, they are now much more open about their status as a couple. And, it is baby sister Soha’s turn to get married in 2014. Both families have extended their support to the couple who have been together since late 2009,” as reported in Yahoo India Lifestyle.

3. Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha

Per India Today, “Dia and the budding film-maker have reportedly decided upon February 14 to get married.”. The lovely actress hasn’t been making too many movies of late but is one of the most exquisite models during India’s Bridal Fashion Week. From designer Raghavendra Rathore, Shyamal & Bhumika to Ritu Kumar, we can only guess which couture designer will be lucky to grace her on her wedding day.

4. Aftab Shivdasani and Nin Dusanj

"Yes, we will get married. Nin was Hong Kong based. She has now relocated to India. She is a Punjabi girl, born and raised in London. But she's been working in Hong Kong for the past six years," said Aftab spoke to Urban Asian.com .

Apparently this eligible bachelor was having some trouble with lady luck in finding his true love and we are thrilled he has found a wonderful match with Hong Kong based Nin Dusanj. What we love most is that fame and fortune doesn’t seem to matter and according to industry insiders, she’s a sweet and down to earth girl.

5. Bipashu Basu and Harman Baweja

While this sultry actress will neither confirm nor deny if wedding bells are in the air, Bipashu Basu has been quite firm in saying that she will have a typical Bengali wedding. “Whenever I get married it will be a Bengali wedding. If I won't have a Bengali wedding my mother won't come. She has warned me. So, I am going to have a Bengali wedding for sure," Bipasha Basu told Indian Express in recent interview.
