Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat to star in an episode of CBS's Hawaii Five-O.
Bollywood Actress and ANOKHI Magazine's 2010 cover story lead, Mallika Sherawat was recently cast to play the role of Farah in the series, “A woman who has a history with Catherine Rollins, played by Michelle Borth”, according to TVLine Items.
Unfortunately for Mallika, she won’t be playing a permanent role on the hit American drama series but will be a guest star with a fascinating International plot.
The episode starring Sherawat begins with her character'sson found to be kidnapped by the Taliban. Both Catherine and Steve, leading characters in the show, go to Afghanistan to help Farah and her husband Amir find their son; according to Kouchpotato. The episode is expected to air May 2, 2014.

No stranger to the west, Mallika last starred in a Hollywod flick back in 2011 with 'Politics of Love' and was also featured in a Bruno Mars Video 'Whatta Man' in 2012.

No stranger to controversy, Mallika also faced predjudice while promoting 'Bachelorette' in India last year. She was questioned about her comment, "Indian society is regressive for women." Sherawat stood her crowd and has ever since taken up the cause of gender inequality and violence against women, not only in India but around the world. Sherawat was interviewed by various American networks like MSNBC and 'Piers Morgan Show' to discuss the encounter and talk about women's rights.
Sherawat's passion for the cause also led her to an invitation to participate in a debate titled 'This House Believes Gender Exists to Oppress' at Oxford University.
We wish her success and look forward to watching her on Hawaii Five-0 come May 2, 2014.
