‘Ki & Ka’ Trailer Release: Has Bollywood Redefined Itself?
When it comes to relationships, especially in Bollywood, society is used to the man in the relationship being the main source of income and the woman being the stereotypical housewife.
'Ki & Ka's' recently released trailer however, took relationship standards to a whole other level. R. Balki's upcoming romance film starring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor will redefine Bollywood with its one-of-a-kind role reversed relationship, setting a benchmark in the film industry.

Before its release, Ki & Ka has been making headlines for its unusual casting choice and unique storyline, which follows a young married couple and the challenges they face through their gender-reversed relationship in a traditional Indian society.
The trailer opens with the young couple discussing what their roles would be after marriage, and to much surprise, Arjun's character chooses to be the supportive, stay-at-home husband, while Kareena, who is a career-driven marketing manager, dreams of one day becoming a CEO.

As the film teaser goes on, we can't help but notice that the two don't mind the change of roles, and actually bring out the benefits of having such a unique marriage. Arjun's character cleans, cooks, and supports his wife's ambitions, while Kareena's character focuses on the success of her career and paying the bills.
In an almost cringe-worthy scene, the trailer finishes off with Arjun's character using the excuse of a "headache" to get out of intimate time with his wife and Kareena's character responding with "Bhaad mein jaye tera head" (To hell with your headache), as she proceeds to climb on top of him.

The much anticipated romantic-comedy of the Spring is set to hit the big screen on April 1 and has so far proven that the pair definitely share quite the sizzling on-screen chemistry. From the looks of it, we can expect a refreshing twist with a lot of kissing, laughs, and romance.
