Multi-talented Canadian-British Actress, Singer & Songwriter Karen David, will be releasing a preview of her new EP 'Dust to Stars', with the premier of her new song 'Daydreamer' on You Tube.
The music video to the upbeat song is a treat to her fans as it shows Karen in her element, bringing the song, melody and visuals to life.
A perfect summer song, that can be played at a club, day party or just hanging out with friends enjoying the summery weather! This song mirrors Karen’s unique fusion of Indie-pop tunes and sets the stage for what her fans should expect from her new EP.
The past few months have been nothing but excited for this actress, singer, and songwriter who has spent the last year travelling around the world. She recently finished working on the brand new remake, Amar Akbar Anthony, which is set to release in 2014.
David will return to LA to finish the last minute touches on her new album 'Dust to Stars'. The EP will contain a collection of tracks: Dust to Stars, Connected, Heartstrings, Kaleidoscope and Daydreamer.
Speaking about her new album, Karen says, “I can’t wait to share the EP Dust to Stars with all my fans, which is why I’am giving them a little taste with Daydreamer. The track is really a fun, summer song and I had a great time filming the video. It’s definitely a feel good track for everyone to enjoy.
The reaction so far has been great and I’am looking forward to performing it live in London at the first of my live sessions in August.”
David, who is most recognized for her role as Francesca “Cesca” Montaya in the BBC television series, Waterloo Road and her memorable appearance in The Scorpion King 2: Rise of the Warrior.
