Kangana Ranaut Launches Her Third VERO MODA Collection
After a holiday in Europe, Kangana Ranaut resumed her fashionista duties by unveiling her French Riviera collection for Vero Moda.
It’ll be her third collection with the brand, and it’s a softer departure from her first collection, Marquee, which was rife with soft silk tops, turquoise bell skirts, fine china prints and sleek pants. French Riviera, Ranaut said, reflected her individuality and promised to resonate with women.

“I think women identify with the ideology that I stand for, that is follow your own path, be your own person and have your own life and priorities and not be a quintessential Indian woman who puts herself below everyone. That ideology comes across in my clothes,” said Ranaut to PTI at the launch.
Wearing a gorgeous white lace peplum top and midi skirt, Ranaut looked European-chic to a tee. Perhaps she picked up some ideas from her travels abroad — especially after the Hrithik Roshan hullabaloo. There was no mention of that nasty incident, as all eyes were on her stunning collection.

The collection was full of pastels — with mint blues, seafoam greens, pinks and peaches — which complemented the floral designs, lace fabrics and peplums. There are some perfect ensembles for the summer here that could go well with wedding season coming up.

Unlike most celebrity fashion collections, Kangana’s line looks very ready-to-wear and practical. She also had a hand in creating the designs and choosing the fabrics.

“I love trying my hand on fashion designing. That has been on my mind for a while now. There were many offers but I wanted it to be with somebody who has the right infrastructure and platform, like the fabrics and the production quality have international standards.Robert (designer) handles the production and helps me with other things. I needed that kind of support,” she said to Indian Express.
Let’s hope this collection goes online quickly so that we can splurge on it!
