George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin’s Wedding Style

Hollywood Actor George Clooney Marries International Lawyer Amal Alamuddin

The 53-year-old actor, considered as one of the world's most eligible bachelors, told PEOPLE that marriage "feels pretty damn great." He married lawyer Amal Alamuddin in an intimate, 30-minute ceremony in Italy's historic Aman Canal Grande Venice.

The newlyweds enjoyed a four-day wedding celebration in Venice, Italy which starting last Friday and ending September 29 in a civil ceremony. The couple had already informally exchanged vows at a reception held Saturday at the Aman Hotel. The two have been engaged since April 22 of this year. ??

Amal sure managed to grab the spotlight with her slew of designer outfits throughout the wedding weekend, solidifying her as one to "watch out" for. The brains with beauty it would seem is equipped with a killer fashion sense too.

Amal had four looks for the celebratory events. When she and her then-fiancé first arrived in Italy, she wore a stripped Dolce & Gabbana dress. Following that Amal was seen in a stunning red Alexander McQueen gown with a matching lip colour. Her wedding brunch look included a Giambattista Valli couture mini dress which featured long lace sleeves and embellished blossoms. For the civil ceremony itself the lawyer pleasantly surprised us in a cream Stella McCartney pantsuit with a matching hat.

The celebrity guest list included Anna Wintour, Bruce Bozzi Jr, Matt Damon, Bono, and Cindy Crawford along with Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, and Bill Murray. ??

For the traditional wedding ceremony, the bride wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown that featured French lace, hand-embroidered pearls and diamanté accents, an off-the-shoulder neckline and a full circular train. The groom was dressed in a Giorgio Armani tuxedo with a white shirt, black bow tie and customized cuff links from his bride, with his name inscribed in Arabic.

The ceremony, only 14-minutes-long, was officiated by George Clooney’s close friend, the former Mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni, and held at Venice’s 13th century town hall.??

"George and Amal radiated love all night," Amal's mother, Baria, told PEOPLE. "The wedding was so unbelievably special, it was legendary. These three days – the friends, the families, the atmosphere, everything – will stay with me all the rest of my life."

Clooney’s first marriage ended in divorce in 1993. Since then the Hollywood actor has dated women for several years, before the relationships eventually dissolved. He claimed he would never marry, but in recent years, famous friends like Matt Damon, and more recently Brad Pitt, have tied the knot; they challenged Clooney on his marital status. The beauty Clooney finally picked, international civil rights lawyer with both brains and beauty, and apparently a fabulous sense of fashion is a testament to the saying "waiting for the right one".
