In Europe this fall season? Don't miss out on the culinary festivals, the Halloween parties, and the picturesque colourful trees across the continent!
ITALY
Food Lover? Love to indulge in your sweet tooth? Why not take a tour of Italy and enjoy all the delicacies it has to offer. Take the Taste of Italy Tour, from Rome to Tuscany and Umbria. As you see the cultural beauty of the beautiful towns of Montepulciano and Cortona (from the movie Under The Tuscan Sun), you can taste local specialties such as various cheeses (why of course, it's Italy after all!), olive oil, salami and partake in delicious wine tasting. While on the tour, you drive along the serene Lake Trasimeno.

FRANCE
Visiting Paris? How about experiencing Nuit Blanche in the country where it originated. Country-wide, galleries, museums, performance art exhibitions, even swimming pools et cetera stay open overnight for free public access. This year, Nuit Blanche will be held on October 26th. As the festival will be all over Paris, it is wise to pick a few must-see exhibits, and leave the rest to chance.
UNITED KINGDOM
Canada's fall foliage has no comparison, ofcourse. But if you happen to be in the UK this fall, and are craving some picturesque fall foliage, there are some beautiful places to visit.
Located in Cotswolds, Westonbirt is the national arboretum, and is known for its beautiful autumn colors. In particular is a collection of Japanese Maple Trees, which will surely satisfy your eyes' desire to see red and oranges on the trees.
You may also like to visit Maulden Woods (Bedfordshire) to explore a heavily wooded forest of 20 different species, along with a wildflower meadow.
Westonbirt Arboretum
Salcey Forest is a good place to watch butterflies and dragon-flies flutter around ancient oak trees. Oakley Woods in New Forest have an abundance of fungi during fall.
SPAIN
Head to Spain for various culinary, cultural and film festivals held in October.
If you love seafood, you will love the Fiesta de la Exaltación del Marisco. It usually takes place during the first two weeks of October. Indulge in delicious seafood cuisine while you enjoy the picturesque River Arosa (Galicia)
For big-screen entertainment lovers, there are the Marbella Film Festival (Costa Del Sol) and Vitoria Theatre Festivals (Basque Country).
And with the Barcelona International Erotic Film Festival, there is a little something for everyone.
AMSTERDAM
All the party-lovers should check out the Amsterdam Dance Event, billed as Europe's only electronic and dance conference. With various insider events and performances by internationally acclaimed artists, you will find it easy to let go and have the time of your life. This year, the event will be held from October 17th – 21st, 2012.
Halloween is celebrated with great excitement in Amsterdam. Participate in the Halloween Freak Show Costume Party And Festival, an annual costume party that includes various performances and DJ line-ups, as well as horror film premieres. You can also join a charitable zombie walk, and 'braainnnn' your way to donating for a good cause! Check out a photo gallery of the freak shows they have had before. The images truly justify the title!
