Eco-friendly eyewear company Proof focuses on bringing customers unique frames made from materials such as sustainable woods, plant based acetate and re-purposed skateboard decks. Founded by three brothers in 2010, the inspiration came from Grandpa. His love for wood and nature is how the idea for Proof Eyewear came about. The goal was to create a product that was eco-friendly as well as original. The company who prides itself on providing original handcrafted designs, works with the philosophy of producing innovative environmentally friendly, unique and original products with the seal of approval being 'Proof-Crafted'.

PROSPECTOR BAMBOO POLARIZED $115

The Prospector is a modern twist on an aviator type frame. The Prospector is is part of the wood collection which is handcrafted and assembled from the finest woods available. The woods used in these frames are sustainably sourced making them environmentally friendly.

ONTARIO SKATE AQUA $115

The Ontario is a wooden interpretation of the wayfarer style and part of the Skateboard collection which is handcrafted and assembled from 5 ply Canadian Maple skateboard decks. This unique skateboard construction makes them durable and unique.

Each wooden frame is hand polished and coated with a water/sweat protective seal.

CHAPLIN POLARIZED $95

The Chaplin is inspired by the classics, just like the man himself, Charlie Chaplin. This is a round classic unisex frame with a modern look and feel. The Chaplin is part of the Environmentally Conscious Optics Collection (ECO Collection). Each pair is crafted from plant based acetate materials and the finest woods available. The ECO Collection is 100% renewable, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Each frame goes through a 15 step assembly process to create this one of a kind collection.

A portion of each sale goes to nonprofit charities Proof believes in. Proof works with nonprofits in India that provide sight giving surgeries to people with cataracts.
