The Ninth Annual desiFEST, Presented by TD at Yonge-Dundas Square, Announces Its Much-Anticipated Artist Line-Up.
desiFEST, North America’s largest outdoor South Asian urban concert, has announced its star-studded line-up for its ninth annual concert. The event will take place on May 30 at the landmark Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto. Both up-and-commers and renowned names from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and India will perform in front of a crowd of 40,000 excited desiFEST fans.
As always, the festival's focus is to showcase the great talent of new artists, highlighting the homegrown Canadian talent pool along with a range of international artists whom we all love.
The line-up involves more than 30 performers, including Montreal’s very own Master-D, from the international pop group The Bilz & Kashif, as he embarks on his solo career. The producer and artist has recently been making waves worldwide for revolutionizing bhangra music with his signature sound.

Punjabi singer Raj Fidda, a rising star in the bhangra world
Fateh has revamped the look and sound of Punjabi music with rap, seamlessly blending the two languages of English and Punjabi in his vocals. He has performed alongside artists such as Gippy Grewal, Amrinder Gill and Jazzy B.
Lady Pista combines a unique blend of musical styles such as dancehall, pop and ethnic drum beats.
Zack has written music for Tinie Tempah and Ginuwine and has also performed on stage with artists such as Taio Cruz, Mario and Jessie J. as well as Pakistani artist Raheel Zaman.
Indo-American heartthrob Mickey Singh

desiFEST’s grand finale will close out the day-long music celebration with Indo-American heartthrob Mickey Singh. Get ready to swoon over his tender voice, which promises to mesmerize. Catch his unique blend of East meets West sounds coming to life in a high-energy performance that promises to have you on your feet.

Hosting the event is desiFEST founder Sathish Bala (also known as SatsB). Known for his passion for the Desi urban music scene, SatsB has managed to grow the event's popularity for its ninth consecutive year. He is also credited with providing opportunities to new emerging artists and nurturing their growth in the industry. “For its 9th year, desiFEST will showcase the amazing talents of South Asian artists with the support of TD, whose vision supports our commitment to the South Asian community across Canada.
