The trailer for Tamasha, starring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, has been unveiled and we're excited to see the chemistry again between the two ex-lovers.
The sizzling pair is back on screen after their previous hits, Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Their first film, Bachna Ae Haseeno, shows Raj (Ranbir Kapoor) as a charmer who eventually loses his heart to Gayatri (Deepika Padukone) but she refuses to commit initially. Heartbroken and repentant, he takes a journey to amend his mistakes, apologizing to his partners in the past that he had falsely committed to. Like a usual, albeit impressively presented, Bollywood chick flick, their love story crystallizes into a happy ending eventually. Kapoor and Padukone, who at the time of the film, were newcomers to the industry and in a romantic relationship, had the audience drooling over their smoking hot equation.

Their second film, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, shows an adventurous Bunny (Kapoor) and reserved Naina (Padukone) as classmates, who secretly fall for each other on a trip, but lose touch when the former moves abroad in pursuit of his goals. When he visits India after many years and meets her again, they feel the same burning desire for one another and Bunny now chooses love over personal ambitions. The narrative strikes a resemblance to their true story of breakup and plays effectively with people’s curiosity to see them as a reunited couple.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the first look of Tamasha gives a positive and promising vibe. The two actors appear to share a fun-filled and engaging dynamic. At present, they both have fully moved on in their personal lives but continue to maintain a rock solid compatibility.
Do you think Padukone and Kapoor's pairing in Tamasha will be a smashing success like before? Check out the trailer and share your comments below.
