Go From Work To Play With These Hot Picks.
Gentlemen, don’t waste any time after work: transform one of these looks in a couple of minutes, so when you clock out of the office, you’re already prepped to punch-in at the party.
Shirts
Guys, if you plan to talk shop at happy hour, keep the collar and cuffs. If you’re going to be attending a more casual social affair, a dressy tee (no slang, no big logos) might do fine, but for a more laid-back look you should probably stick to a button-down shirt that is designed to be untucked, but can be tucked back in at a moment’s notice.
Bottoms
Men, your instinct after a long day at work might be to relax in some nice jeans, but nothing says, “Go get ‘em” like slacks and a button-down shirt. Stylish jeans are great for weekends, but the middle of the week calls for blue, black or gray – in and out of the office.

Jackets
You don’t always require a button-down for a night out, but balance the “going-out” t-shirt by erring on the side of caution, and keep a sport-coat on hand. A blazer is the fastest way to class-up an outfit, and as more formal places often require some sort of jacket, grab something in a neutral colour.
Shoes
Leave the sneakers and boat shoes at home, you’re not on a yacht. Despite the popular rise in fashion sneakers, many clubs and lounges still have a strict no-sneaker policy. A pair of leather brogues, or oxfords, is just as good for the office as they are for an event. Like the gals, make sure your shoes are comfortable or you’ll be in for a long day … and night.
Socks
Most guys already know to match socks to trousers for work, and some men wear colourful socks to alleviate the heaviness of formal wear. No socks is definitely a no-no.
Accessories
It’s after-hours and the last thing you want is to feel uptight, so lose the tie- but keep a fun pocket square tucked in your jacket for a sharp, yet playful, style. A nice watch is appropriate, but in many cases cufflinks can be too formal- leave any other bling at home. Gold chains don’t work at the office, and nothing chills a date like channeling the Godfather with garish pinky rings; genuine success presents itself more subtly.

Tips for Men: Keep airport regulation size mouthwash, deodorant, cologne, some hair sculpting supplies, and a spare shirt and tie in a desk drawer. Be prepared for an important client dropping in unexpectedly, or an invitation to dinner. If you are required to wear a uniform, always keep a spare outfit hanging in your car, or another easy-access location.
Dress appropriately, but also comfortably. No matter how awesome the outfit, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, you’ll be too concerned with feeling self-conscious to enjoy yourself. Being yourself matches your clothing better than any accessory!
