Celebrities, Founders, Media & Notable South Asian Personalities Celebrate Neerja Public Relation’s 15th Anniversary

Last week on October 1st, Neerja Public Relations marked 15 years of uplifting South Asian voices with a celebration that brought together celebrities, media, influencers, and the who’s who of the South Asian community. Held at Radio Park, the rooftop of the iconic Radio City Music Hall in the center of New York City, over 200 guests gathered to celebrate Neerja Patel and her namesake branding agency Neerja PR for bridging the gap between the underrepresented community and mainstream media.

In attendance were Celebrity Chef Vikas Khanna, Stand up Comedian and Screenwriter Zarna Garg (read our interview with Zarna here), Actor Jugal Hansraj, Singer Jefrey Iqbal, Broadway Actors Shoba Narayan and Nikhil Saboo, Reality star and author Aparna Shewakramani, Peloton yoga instructor and actor, Aditi Shah, food blogger Palak Patel, Host and Producer at The Hollywood Reporter, Neha Joy, Marie Claire’s Entertainment Director, Neha Prakash and many other notable personalities.

Neerja wore custom Nazranaa from the 2025 NYFW Runway Collection called Udyana. The 2 piece skirt and long sleeve blouse was made with luxurious silk dyed in dark green hues and entirely hand crafted with over 200 applique flowers. The skirt was crafted with a sage green undertone and had a unique high- low asymmetric cut. Designed by Shivangi Gupta Singh, Nazranaa’s Udyana collection aims to infuse our lives with the vibrancy of nature by weaving its colors into our wardrobes.

Neerja PR has promoted and expanded the reach of Indians across multiple verticals, from travel, entertainment, hospitality, beauty, fashion, and non-profits focused on giving back to India. She has managed the PR of Michelin-starred Chef Vikas Khanna for the launch of his restaurant Bungalow, Bollywood – Hollywood Ace publicist Rohini Iyer, fashion designer Payal Singhal, comedians such as Zarna Garg, Vir Das, Rajiv Satyal, Sugar Sammy, and Papa CJ for their comedy tours, and many others.

Patel has always focused on making Indian culture more accessible and integrated. Neerja PR’s expertise is two-fold: expanding American companies’ reach with Indian audiences for partners such as Disney, Shopify, and LinkedIn and expanding Indian companies’ reach in the US. She is seen as a cultural icon in the South Asian Diaspora.
