Australia is one of the first countries to ring in the new year. It is a perfect destination for an adventurer or a wildlife enthusiast. There is no more exciting place than the Sydney Harbour with fireworks surrounding the Opera House at midnight. It's actually summer vacation in Australia during December and January and you can spend New Years Eve on the beach waiting for the night sky to light up to welcome the new year.

Moscow, Russia
