It’s Been Just Over A Year Since LIGHT Nightclub Opened Its Doors At The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino In Las Vegas, And The Semi-Open-Air Hot Spot Has No Intention Of Losing Steam

Located on the infamous Las Vegas strip, LIGHT has a unique party atmosphere. It’s the first nightclub to have ever joined forces with Cirque du Soleil, resulting in an electronic dance music experience that’s unavailable in any other city in the world. Gorgeous performers and aerialists in elaborate costumes greet you at every turn. Models strut enthusiastically through the crowd. Whether the cast is spinning above you, dancing beside you, or lounging by your private-bottle-service table (it’s optional to purchase a table, although it's recommended if you’d like a seating area), once inside, you're immediately part of the production.

The theatrics go beyond the impossibly flexible girls that hang from the ceiling and parade around. Fitting its name, the space has been engineered to include several massive LED screens playing mesmerizing light shows and cutting-edge video projection technology letting nearby objects pick up the projected picture. These avant-garde visuals move in sync to the gritty electronic dance music beats pumped out by the resident DJs. Most of LIGHT’s in-house DJs have headlined around the globe, including the likes of Morgan Page, Fatboy Slim, Alesso, A-Trak, Henrix and Will.I.Am.

This is "Sin City," and there's rarely enough time to experience its full scope of entertainment. It's America’s most-touted adult playground for a reason. Recent research shows that South Asian Americans are estimated to have a combined disposable income of $88 billion dollars — so if you can afford the playground, it’s worth an extended stay. Either way, by incorporating dance, theatre, music and art, LIGHT has done the impressive job of capturing almost every part of a successful Las Vegas weekend in one stop … Tylenol not included.
