With this newsletter we bring to you our continued comprehensive #ANOKHI12 video coverage with Parts 2 & 3 of our three-part Awards-Entertainment show highlights, which took place at the prestigious Fairmont Royal York Hotel on Saturday March 28th, 2015.
The show’s highlights this week include:
· A musical performance by Karen David which began with a song from her hit TV show, ABC’S ‘Galavant’.
· ATN host Amin Dhilllon Presenting The Crusader Awards Part 2 to: Canadian Mental Health Association’s Vice Chair, Uppala Chandrasekera; and President of UN Women National Committee Canada, Almas Jiwani.
· Comedian Danish Anwar’s rib-tickling stand-up act.
· V-Mix Producer Raoul Juneja presenting awards to comedians Danish Anwar and Ali Hassan.
· Comedian Ali Hassan’s hilarious comedy skit.
· A captivating musical performance by Juno-nominated singer Alysha Brilla
· V-Mix host Dilshad Burman presenting the Music Awards to Alysha Brilla, Manj Musik, DJ Rekha and Rishi Rich.
· Entertainment Tonight reporter Sangita Patel presenting The Film & TV Awards in various categories to actors Vinay Virmani, Karen David and Rahul Khanna.
· International actor Rahul Khanna presenting The Fashion Award to celebrity fashion designer, Archana Kochhar.
· Finishing off with the exclusive, invite-only Industry Gala After-Party, with some of North America’s TOP DJs; DJ Rekha, DJ Biks, DJ Jiten & DJ Tricky spinning throughout the night!

As you may already know, during #ANOKHI12 we launched our first ever coffee table book – THE ANOKHI LIST 2015. The book showcases the regional, national and international success stories of some of today’s most prolific South Asian personalities. With over 150 pages and 32 EXCLUSIVE interviews with some of today’s leaders including International Actor Rahul Khanna, Legendary Music Producer Rishi Rich, Popular Singer Manj Musik, ABC’s Galavant Actress Karen David, Bollywood Fashion Designer Archana Kochhar, Cultural Icon & Founder of Basement Bhangra DJ Rekha!
The book also comes with a special congratulatory message from the Premier of Ontario and the Mayor of Toronto, along with messages from the book’s Editor-In-Chief, Hina P. Ansari and myself.
