India’s starlets shine at the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival.
Last year, Cannes rolled out the red carpet to celebrate the 100th anniversary of filmmaking in India, and this year the members of Bollywood’s silver screen returned in high style.

For Aishwarya Rai Bachan, accompanied by 18-month-old daughter, Aaradhya, was previously criticized for her weight gain, but silenced fashion critics at the premiere of Two Days, One Night on Tuesday (May 20) in a show-stopping golden Roberto Cavalli gown. The dress showed off svelte curves that managed to also blow away hubby Abhishek Bachnan, who tweeted a gratifyingly masculine response: “Almost 52hrs without sleep! Eyes shutting… and then Mrs. Shows up looking like this!! Ok. Eyes wide open now!”

Meanwhile Sonam Kapoor continues to impress us with her range of looks, from faux-bobbed starlet in a sweeping black Elie Saab ballroom gown to desi beauty in the pale pink and champagne Anamika Khanna sari. The pale blue Elie Saab chiffon number paired with a necklace by Chopard, worn for her final appearance at the festival wasn’t something we’d mind wearing either!
