3. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani

The director chose to use guerrilla-style filmmaking while shooting in Malaysia. He wanted to capture the authentic ambience and not let on that a film shoot was taking place.

Bhatti's class war took the form of social banditry, taking from the rich and giving to the poor. He also opposed the abduction and selling of girls into slavery, arranging marriages for them and also providing their dowries.

Starring: Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vidya Balan and Sabyasachi Chakrabarty

Together with Amitabh Bachchan's character, they team up to investigate a kidnapping that is very similar to an unsolved eight-year-old case.

Starring: Dilpreet Dhillon, Gurjind Mann, Tanvi Nagi, Sonia Kaur and Pavan Malhotra

The film was originally supposed to release in April. However, it failed to clear the censor board — especially when the controversial trailer was released, showing the actors pointing guns at each other with the Golden Temple in the background.
7. Udta Punjab
Director: Abhishek Chaubey
Starring: Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh
Release Date: June 17th, 2016
With Shahid, Kareena and Alia, you'd think Udta Punjab was a lighthearted comedy — but it's the absolute opposite, falling into the crime thriller category. The film is based on the mafia and drug abuse Punjab. All three stars, alongside Punjab superstar Diljit Dosanjh, play pivotal roles in the film.
Despite being in the film together, Shahid and Kareena allegedly don't share a single frame.

Starring: Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal
Release Date: June 24th, 2016
He used a regular steel rod to reduce human faces to severed heads and broken skulls. When the police caught him, he admitted to 41 murders.
9. Sardaarji 2

Starring: Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, Monica Gill and Jaswinder Bhalla
Release Date: June 24th, 2016
The best part of this film, which will definitely entice you, is that Diljit hired Ranbir Kapoor's trainer and undertook some intense training to gain a six-pack.
