Bored By Your Instagram Feed? 5 Refreshing Accounts You Need To Follow Right Now
Entertainment Jul 21, 2015
Scrolling through pictures of babies and food on Instagram can get quite blasé, and sometimes you need some fresh air on your feed from people who are inspirational, funny or just downright cool.
Once you weed out the rishtas sliding into your DMs and stop liking every Bollywood meme, you’ll find that there are some people on the ‘gram who have a unique sense of style, ability or personality that motivates you to one day have it all together like they do.
Instagram has become the perfect platform for artists and enthusiasts to showcase unique visions and some butt-kicking artwork that you may not come across otherwise. You might even share some common ground and struggles. That’s why we’ve taken it upon ourselves to compile a short but sweet list of the accounts that embody everything that’s right with Instagram.
1. Rupi Kaur @rupikaur_

Rupi Kaur is a spoken-word poet based in Toronto. Rupi has a knack for inspiring the world around her with her poetry, which has a special focus on women’s struggles in society. Rupi, like many other people, has experienced love, loss, pain and healing in different chapters of her life. She has poured out these emotions into a book called Milk and Honey, made up of four chapters. The book addresses different kinds of struggles that culminate in a different kind of growth, poetry-style!

This redheaded vixen is a Jill of all Trades when it comes to being a YouTube fitness and beauty guru. Laiba aspires to help everyone feel comfortable in their own skin. Growing up, she felt like the Ugly Duckling and was intimidated by skinnier women. So Laiba decided to take full control and mould herself into something she was proud of. Now, years later and with a strong social media following, Laiba’s main purpose is to help others better themselves. Follow her social media channels and maybe learn a new workout or two. Laiba’s mom also features in some of Laiba’s videos, killing it at some crazy workouts!
4. Keerat Kaur @_keeratkaur
5. Maria Qamar @hatecopy
