Bollywood Stars Who Rejected Roles In Hollywood Blockbusters
We all make mistakes, and even our beloved Bollywood celebs have regrets.
No one would ever turn down a movie offer from Christopher Nolan, legendary director of Inception and The Dark Knight. But that's exactly what Irrfan Khan had to do. He let go of the role of Dr. Mann in Interstellar that was later picked up by Matt Damon. As much as he wanted to be in this Hollywood success, he couldn't commit to four months in the U.S. for the making of the film. Instead, he stayed true to Bollywood and completed The Lunch Box and D-Day.

When it comes to Hollywood, Bollywood actresses have had to make hard choices as well. Last year, Deepika Padukone rejected a role in the much anticipated Furuious 7 next to The Rock and Vin Diesel due to her commitment to Bollywood movie Happy New Year.

Her co-star, otherwise known as King Khan, ironically turned down the role of Kaun Banega Crorepati's host in the Oscar award-winning Slumdog Millionaire. The role went to Anil Kapoor and it was the doorway to his Hollywood success. Appearing in the television series 24 and then alongside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol there is no end in sight for Anil Kapoor.

Miss world Aishwarya Rai also gave up the opportunity to star next to Angelina Jolie's hot husband, Brad Pitt. She declined to be a part of Troy. It is rumored that she woudn't fulfil the demands of an onscreen romance with Brad PItt.
Ronit Roy missed the opportunity to be a part of Oscar award-winning Hollywood movie Zero Dark Thirty. He just couldn't betray Karan Johar for Student of the Year and carried on.
