Bollywood Graces Fevicol’s Annual ‘Caring With Style’ Fashion Show 2013

In association with The Cancer Patients Aid Association, the Fevicol Fashion Show 2013 attracted Bollywood's elite as they walked the ramp to support a noble cause.

Fevicol, India's well-known brand owned by Pidilite Industries Ltd., hosted its 8th annual 'Caring With Style' fashion show that was held in Mumbai on June 02, 2013. The show partnered with The Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) to acknowledge its commitment and to support cancer patients.

The event was graced by many familiar faces in the film industry, including actors, singers and always-read-to-party socialites. Some of the Bollywood celebs who walked the ramp and made the evening a night to remember included Juhi Chawla, Dia Mirza, Sophie Choudry, Ameesha Patel, Shriya Saran, Geeta Basra, Neha Dupia, Asha Parekh, Waheeda Rehman and Terence Lewis. The stars modeled on the ramp in creations by leading designers Manish Malhotra and Shaina NC.

The show acknowledged over 75 men and women who are cancer survivors and achievers hailing from different cross-roads. It is certainly a pleasure to see some big names from the film industry take time off their busy schedule to support the cause. The evening also included performances by well-acclaimed singers like Sajid-Wajid, Mohit Suri, Shilpa Rao and Meiyang Chang. To add to the glamor and star-studded buzz, the fashion show had a shower sprinkling over as the stars walked down the ramp. It was quite an entertaining and appealing event that supported a noble cause.

Manish Malhotra was quite proud of the show and his role in it. He said, " This occasion is not only a platform to showcase my work but it also gives me an opportunity to contribute and reach out to the society-in-need." Manish Malhotra has been working as an ace designer in Bollywood for over a decade. His designs have been worn by nearly ever leading Bollywood actress, including Priyanka Chopra, Kajol, Rani Mukherji, Kareena Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. You may have stumbled across his collection in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

The Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) is a registered charitable non-governmental organization (NGO) that supports cancer patients, firmly tries to increase awareness of cancer, and assist those in need of care.
