Tamasha is a romantic drama written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. (Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar) This love story brings back Bollywood's favourite couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Kapoor once again plays the free-spirited character that he pulls off so well and Deepika plays an emotionally agile girl who meets Kapoor's character whilst on an adventure. Released just in time for the key December release month this is another romantic story we feel is worth watching.
Kajarya
Cast: Meenu Hooda, Ridhima Sud, Kuldeep Ruhil and Shashi Bhushan
Release Date: December 4, 2015

Even though this provocative drama which has been a film festival favorite this past year didn't have the widespread publicity (or promotional budget for that matter) than the other larger films have it's still worth a watch due to the heart wrenching topic itself. Directed by Madhureeta Anand (Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye) who is most noted for her documentary style film making, Kajarya is a drama which unfolds against the backdrop of female infanticide and the widespread preference for male progeny in India today.
Hate Story 3
Cast: Sharman Joshi, Zarine Khan, Daisy Shah and Karan Singh Grover
Release date: December 4, 2015

Another comedy called Mastizaade was scheduled to be released on the same date but because of the clash with Hate Story 3 the Mastizaade team decided to push the film until January 2016.
Bajirao Mastani
Cast: Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra
Release date: December 18, 2015
Bajrao Mastani

Bajirao Mastani is a historical feature film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Black, Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-Leela). Singh plays Bajirao, Padukone is Mastani and Chopra is Bajirao's first wife, Kashibai.
The soundtrack for the film is composed by Bhansali himself and the first song "Gajanana" was released on September 16th, 2015 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in front of Bhansali, Padukone and Singh where over 5,000 students gathered to form the largest human formation of the Lord Ganesha, which was actually recognized by Guiness Book of World Records.
Dilwale
Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon
Release date: December 18, 2015

Dilwale is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan. Shetty has said that Diwale is not a remake although people have been saying it may be. Khan and Kajol, the iconic '90s on-screen couple, are set to be paired again, while Varun Dhwan will play Khan's younger brother. Vinod Khanna steps in to play their father and Kabir Bedi will play Kajol's father.
While shooting the film, Kajol and Khan took some time out to shoot a small remake of a few scenes from their hit film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to celebrate the 20th anniversary of that film which is the longest running Indian movie to date.
The most buzz-worthy release date is due to the fact that two huge films, Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani, are set to come out on the same day; a rarity in Bollywood. With Khan's production company Red Chillies Entertainments behind the Dilwale, Khan has been pulling out all the stops in promoting the film and has already signed a Rs 60 crore (approximately $20 million US) TV deal.
It is unclear which film is dubbed to be the winner but we are sure in for a treat with two huge films releasing at the same time. Christmas will come early for viewers.
