Forgetting to drink enough water? There’s an app for that!
Drinking adequate water can be difficult when you’re always on the go and with so many other fluids to choose from. Most of us opt for coffee in the mornings, and in the midst of our busy lives forget to reach our target water-drinking goals.
Water provides your brain with oxygen and away from dehydration that can cause fatigue. Lack of water can be extremely dangerous to our health and experts suggest that we need about eight glasses of fluids a day.
Water can be a bit boring to drink in comparison to the thousands of soda, juices and smoothies available but it definitely has the most health benefits. If you need to increase your water intake and don’t enjoy the taste, try adding lemon, berries, or simply any kind of fruit. This will maintain water’s healthy properties (in fact even add to them) and add flavour without artificial sugary ingredients.
Nowadays we have apps for everything, and these ones you can download to remind yourself to drink more water and keep track of how much you’re drinking in a day.

You can modify the size of the water glass and specify how much of the glass you actually drank, from a half, to a quarter, etc. Reminders and alerts are included.
With these technologies available it should be easier to remember to drink water! The best tip of course is to constantly carry a water bottle around so you naturally choose water over other drinks.
