TIFF 2023: The Best Beauty Looks From The Red Carpet
A famous quote by Khalil Gibran, ‘’Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.’’ The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) spotted glamorous beauty moments captured by the camera’s eyes. Here are our favourite beauty looks from the red carpet!
TIFF 2023 wrapped up another incredible year of the best of global cinema. It also became a mainstay for the hottest fashion and beauty looks. We scoured the red carpet and collected our favourite beauty looks that caught our eye and provided many inspo moments!
Urvashi Rautela
Indian actor and Miss Diva Universe 2015, Urvashi Rautela stuns at TIFF 2023 for the official premiere of Dil Hai Gray. Her incredible hair and old Hollywood glamour beauty look is giving serious Sophia Loren vibes.
Priyanka
Canadian singer and television personality, Mark Suknanan competed and won the first season of the reality show series Canada’s Drag Race, under his drag name, Priyanka. Priyanka brought a fabulous dose of sunshine with her yellow dewy skin, muted lips and stunning bright eyes!
Nelly Furtado
Ageless beauty and Canadian singer (and former ANOKHI cover star!), Nelly Furtado dazzled in an off-the-shoulder metallic gown. The singer was esteemed by the festival’s 2023 Artists for Peace and Justice Gala with an award for her philanthropic work and activism. The Canadian pop icon donned Canadian brand UNTTLD’s metallic Platine Dimitra metallic, long-sleeve dress with Gianvito Rossi platform heels. Featuring make-up with light pink lipstick, soft touch blush, and pink glittery eyeshadow, completing the look with trending sharp black winged eyeliner.
Shehnaaz Gill
On the red carpet for her feature film Thank You For Coming Shehnaaz Gill decided to accentuate her incredible features with her slick updo, glowing skin and of course that stunning fresh face.
Camila Morrone
Camila Morrone sparked the premiere of Gonzo Girl wearing an all-black Chanel Fall 2022 Haute Couture look, donning natural makeup, shimmery hair, and Chanel diamonds. Natural features with less smothering of colours are sending angelic vibes for sure!
Neve Campbell
Neve Campbell ravishing in an all-black Versace SS23 RTW with classy drop earrings at the Swan Song premiere. Her makeup is refreshingly captured and done by Robert Weir. Dior Rosy Glow Blush, and a touch of NARS bronzer for warmth.
Ava DuVernay
Ava DuVernay wore a Miu Miu yellow sable dress embellished with yellow feathers during the ‘’Origin’’ premiere on the red carpet at TIFF. Her makeup enhanced her incredible skin, stunning eyes and continued with the soft muted lip trend that we love so much!
The beauty looks depicted at TIFF 2023 until now transcended mere aesthetics, showcased individuality, and left a mark on the red carpet. From radiant looks to avant-garde makeup, each celebrity had a story to convey. As we celebrate glamour and innovation, we are anticipating the next beauty looks and best dressed to be on another level of the chapter of glitz and glamour. The 2023 Toronto International Film Festival runs from Thursday, September 7, through Sunday, September 17.
