On May 30th, the beautiful Canadian actress, singer and songwriter Karen David wed Swedish songwriter and music producer Carl Ryden at La Venta Inn, nestled in the hills of the Palos Verdes Peninsula in California. They exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family, friends and colleagues, including our very own ANOKHI MEDIA CEO, Raj Girn. The bride wore a gown designed by Allure Bridals from Wilshire Bridal and Tuxedo in Los Angeles, an heirloom headpiece by Australian designer Johanna Johnson and shoes from Manolo Blahnik. The beautiful ceremony was followed by an evening of dancing, laughter and celebration.

The bride’s classic updo was styled by Michael Brent from Canale Salon in Beverly Hills and her glowing makeup was done by Shalini Vadhera. The wedding coordinator, Tim Kennedy from La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes, made sure the vintage and rustic vibes mixed with the Indian and Swedish heritages of the couple. The gorgeous floral arrangements were designed by Be Buds Florists in Torrance, and the final sweet touch to the wedding — the cake, provided by Jamaica’s Cakes in Los Angeles — was a decadent and exotic way to finish the meal.

Musical talents Luciana, Paul Harris of Dirty Vegas, Max Reich of Shapeshifters, Ki Fitzgerald formerly of U.K. pop band Busted, Denmark’s charttopper Nabiha, TV personality Tony Potts and New York fashion designer Alia Khan were just some of the guests in attendance along with other music, film and television heavyweights.
