From February 6 to 13, New York’s Lincoln Center witnessed style, glitz and glamour with over 100 designers showcasing their fall 2014 collections during the iconic Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014. The event kicked off with the Red Dress Collection where several celebrities walked the runways in red outfits created by top designers in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s The Heart Truth awareness campaign. Prominent personalities walking the ramp included American actress AnnaSophia Robb wearing Alice + Olivia, American chef, writer and television personality Giada De Laurentiis wearing Carolina Herrera, American World Cup alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn wearing Cynthia Rowley, Ireland Baldwin wearing Donna Karan, Canadian actress and musician Jill Hennessy wearing Dennis Blasso, American actresses NeNe Leakes wearing Dolce & Gabbana, and Taryn Manning wearing Carmen Marc Valvo. Other notable designers and labels showcased included Venexiana, Black Sail by Nautica, Custo Barcelona, Desigual, Skingraft, Tadashi Shoji and Todd Snyder.
