BANGALORE, INDIA
Renowned designers from India showcased their creations at the 10th edition of Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week. The event, held from January 23 to 26, was a tribute to Bangalore as it was the tenth time the city was hosting the fashion event. Distinguished designers including Abhishek Dutta, Rwitti Roy, Aslam Khan, Michelle Salins, Ramesh Dembla, Manoviraj Khosla, Tanya Sagwan, Prabhat Kumar, Jattinn Kochhar, Rehane and Roohafza mesmerized the audience with their creations. Models, donning bold prints and an amalgamation of traditional and modern wear, set the ramp on fire. Other highlights included an architecture-inspired collection, 3D projections of nature and monuments, hand-embellished gowns, embroidered palazzos, catsuit-inspired outfits and dresses, and environmentally-friendly leather. Beautifully constructed sarees, anarkalis, lehengas, cocktail dresses and beautiful accessories were other highlights of the collections displayed. Bollywood actress Tulip Joshi was the showstopper for Manoviraj Khosla during the grand finale. Other starlets who walked the ramp included Mugdha Godse, Vishakha Singh, Sharmiela Mandre and Pooja Gandhi.
