Gold facials are the latest trend in skin care, and for good reason. Here’s everything you need to know about the Casmara 24-karat gold mask and how this luxurious skin treatment can revitalize and restore your skin.
Kavita Suri began her career as a freelance makeup artist to meet the need for artists who could fuse modern beauty trends with South Asian traditions. She has since gone on to become a leading expert in beauty and skin care. She’s worked with several renowned beauty publications and retailers and continues to conduct workshops and classes. Suri is also the co-founder of Infuse Med Spa, which is located in four Walmart stores across Ontario, Canada and offers the popular Casmara 24-karat gold mask.
What is the Casmara 24-karat gold mask?
It is a luxurious treatment that tightens, tones and hydrates your skin. It’s also a popular anti-aging treatment.
What are the main ingredients?
The main ingredients in the Casmara gold mask are seaweed extract, minerals and 24-karat gold dust. The seaweed hydrates skin, improving its texture. Magnesium, calcium and sodium are the minerals that support the pH balance in our skin, giving it an even and smooth tone. The star product in the mask is the 24-karat gold dust, which nourishes the skin and leaves it with a luminous glow.
How is it done?
The Casmara 24-karat gold mask facial is a 45-minute treatment. First, your skin is cleansed using the medical grade skin care line Biophora, followed by the application of the gold mask, which remains on the skin for 20 minutes. Before removing the mask, a lymphatic drainage massage is performed to de-stress the skin and allow it to absorb the nutrients from the gold. Finally, a rich moisturizer is applied, leaving the skin supple and hydrated.
What are the benefits?
The client will immediately see a tightened effect, making the skin look younger. The treatment also enhances the skin’s natural luminosity due to the gold present in the facial. This is a great option for those seeking an anti-aging regime since it targets fine lines and wrinkles. The gold mask suits all skin types, including women who are experiencing hormonal changes, and it’s especially good for dry or dehydrated skin.
What makes the gold facial different from other facials?
The gold facial is different from other facials in our clinic because of its luxurious ingredients. We also allow the client to take the mask home afterwards so that they can get the extra hydration. The seaweed is active for up to five hours after the facial.
How much does the gold facial cost?
The treatment is sold in packages of four for $200 CDN. The client also has the option to have one session for $65 CDN.
Are there any side effects for people who have sensitive skin?
This mask is actually best suited for clients with sensitive skin. The minerals and seaweed ingredients are calming to skin that is sensitive. I love the fact that the client can get the treatment done on the same day as their big event.
How often would you recommend having the facial done?
All of our facials are done every four weeks for the best result. At my medical spa we ensure our clients attain their skin care goals. We aim for successful results by setting up a schedule for the clients.
Aside from the gold facial, what other services are offered at Infuse Med Spa?
