Are Celebrities Really Pro-Hillary Or Just Anti-Trump?

As celebrities line up around the block (and going viral) we wonder if they really are supporting Hillary or is it a strategic move to block Trump from The White House.

You thought he’d be gone by now, but he’s not.

He’s kind of like global warming — we’ve ignored it and ignored it, and now, oh my goodness, the Earth is melting.

Ladies and gentlemen, Donald Toupee — I mean Trump.

So now a salesman is knocking on The White House door. And who trusts salesmen? They want you to make a rash decision based on emotion.

With so many emotions elicited when his name is mentioned, he’s naturally polarizing. A guy who seems to rarely appeal to logic, but more to your instincts.

Fear is a big one. He knows how to pull that string, talking about the nation-wide castration of America as performed by China, ISIS or Mexico. Or when he shoves vivid images into your brain. And they’re mostly images of war and they elicit fear.

But you also fear he might win.

So how are people reacting to this Donald fear?

"At the beginning, he was a businessperson," Mark Cuban explained. "I wanted to see a change from the traditional politician, but then he went and opened his mouth," Cuban said. He was once in favour of Trump, like many others, because of his out-of-the-box approach to politics.

And then Trump talked about the great wall of America that will make America great again and everything will be just great.

"Trump scares me,” Cuban said after he endorsed Clinton for president. “Donald, initially, I really hoped he would be something different, that as a businessperson, I thought there was an opportunity there. But then he went off the reservation and went bats—- crazy."

And that seems to be a sentiment that doesn’t stop at Cuban.

Born to Muslim-Indian parents, comedian, actor and generally popular guy Aziz Ansari publicy told Trump to "Go f— yourself" because of the Trump's plan to shoo anyone of the faith out of the United States.

"It’s visceral, and scary, and it affects how people live, work and pray. It makes me afraid for my family. It also makes no sense,” Ansari said.

But wait — nowhere does Ansari endorse Hillary. Is it safe to assume that he's for Clinton because he's so against Trump?

With the fun of election season comes the usual celebrity endorsements and smear campaigns. You have powerful people coming out in droves to tell you whom they think you should vote for, usually done on some podium or talk show. The smear messages are usually commercials dryly voiced by a stern old man that ends with the party’s leader saying, “I approve this message.”

But have we ever seen something like this three-minute video of top and low tier celebs urging Americans to save the world and vote against Trump.

But nowhere is Hillary mentioned.

Nowhere is the Democratic Party mentioned.

Only implications against Trump.

Same with the recent comments made by Hollywood kingpin Robert De Niro, which went viral, who called Trump a "pig" who he'd "like to punch in the face." You can hear that and other juicy tidbits here.

But, again, nowhere is a pro Hillary comment mentioned.

Actor Kal Penn, who played in the Harold and Kumar movies and who was the White House Office of Public Engagement's associate director from 2009 to 2011 (so you'd probably assume he'd tout HIllary a bit), told Times of India "I seriously believe that most of the Americans don't agree with Donald Trump over his racist, anti-women, anti-LGBT practices. We are not that country. Hopefully elections will prove that."

But nowhere in the article is there a pro Clinton nod. That was one of the biggest media platforms he could've spoken to and still no endorsement for Clinton.

In an election where it’s common to hear, “Are these two all we’ve got?” It seems like people may be leaning towards the lesser of two evils by default.

It's like being picked last for the NBA draft. Oh, we've got noone else? Okay, let's pick her over there. Welcome to the big leagues.

Even former presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, along with many other republicans, refused to endorse Trump initially. Top among that crowd is the former governor of California and senior citizen action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger. The man has always been pro republican, no matter who the nominee.

In fact, that’s pretty much how it’s always been. You endorse the party’s nominee, even if you slandered them in a race to get their spot.

So does this mean that anymore against Trump is all for Hillary Clinton? No, at least not publically, but the implication is there. Are all these people just going to warm the couch on voting day?

Sure, “Criminal Clinton” is kind of shady, but would you rather a Hitler who won't show his tax returns because he very likely is bankrupt again and that will tarnish his whole superior salesman image? Seems like that’s the rhetoric stemming from this whole story.

And so, these two are America's choices. There’s no hidden option C. Nobody knows what Gary Johnson looks like.

This is the ultimate game of “would you rather.”

It’s been an election that has dragged, shocked and upped public pessimism. Election polls can’t open soon enough, because this ride has been very Trumped up.
