This Year's AMAs Is One For The Books
The anticipated American Music Awards 2014 aired last night and like all fans, we too were glued to our seats. Although the focus of the night was the year's best musical talents in the industry, the red carpet fashion took the limelight, wowing with eye-catching numbers one after another.
Highlights of the evening included the lady of the night, Miss Taylor Swift kicked off the awards show with her new single 'Blank Space', from the songstress’s new album '1989'.
Hosted by Pitbull, the night was filled with electrifying performances and first time wins. Taylor Swift won the very first 'Dick Clark Award For Excellence presented by non-other than Diana Ross, Aussie gal Iggy Azalea won her first AMA beating out Eminem. Selena Gomez debuted her new single 'The Heart Wants What It Wants.' The singer’s dramatic live performance included visuals, which were being projected on the screen behind her. Many wondered if the video which showed a silhouette of a guy resting his hands against a misty glass panel was Justin Bieber. From an emotional performance to steamy girl power, who could forget the Jennifer Lopez and Iggy performing a steamy number to "Booty".
Now let's turn our attention to the celebrities who owned the red carpet with their fashion and style.
Kendall Jenner
The reality star turned model made quite a presence with a black peekaboo Yigal Azrouel gown showcasing cute shorts underneath. Not only did the Estee Lauder runaway model look stunning in the see-through gown, we feel this has been one of her sexiest looks yet.
Fergie
Sexy mamma Fergie returns to the red carpet turning heads wearing a black Halston Heritage gown . The dress which fit the singer to a tee, featured a provocative thigh high slit paired with an edgy golden belt, which showed off her flawless figure perfectly.
Julianna Hough
The Dancing with the Stars judge looked stunning in a Zuhair Murad’s orange gown with a beaded neckline. What’s more stunning was the back of the dress as the beaded neckline touched her hips adding a touch of middle-eastern flair to the gown.
Kate Beckinsale
It's hard to believe this British actress has a sixteen year old. Kate was perfection on the red carpet, topping our 'hit-list'. Cut-outs alongside a plunging neckline made this white Kaufman Franco gown a killer combination for the actress.
Rita Ora
Want to know how to grab attention? Wear a neon popping hue. Ora was a bright yellow ball of sunshine, looking gorgeous as she strutted the red carpet in this yellow Zac Posen creation with a long mermaid train and bare back.
Jennifer Lopez

It was a crisscross number for Lopez who brought lots of glamour in a Reem Acra ivory dress, pairing it with Christian Louboutin silver sequin heels. The multi-talented Latino wore her hair slicked back and emphasized her gorgeous peepers with smoky makeup for an all-out glam gal look.
