The Excitement Is Two-Fold As TOIFA Comes To Dubai
The Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) are back. Emiratis are all set to pay a warm welcome to their favourite Bollywood stars who are as thrilled to head to the exotic city of Dubai.
The event is presented by the Times of India Group in partnership with Splash and Gulf Air.
TOIFA will take place on March 18, 2016 at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai Sports City.
Sameer Soni from The Times of India Group recently announced this exciting development at a press conference, "We are proud to host Toifa in Dubai. Toifa Dubai is going to be the biggest Bollywood event ever hosted in the Gulf region with performances of some of the biggest Bollywood celebrities on one stage." The ceremony was attended by Bollywood stars, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Dhawan.
Fernandez reflected on her experience and excitement for the Dubai event, "The atmosphere in Dubai is always electrifying and I look forward to adding to the magic on 18th March at the Dubai International Stadium."

TOIFA aims to connect with global film communities and promote Bollywood to international destinations. It's first edition was a power packed event in Vancouver in 2013.
This year's TOIFA has a line up of stellar performers including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Ranveer Singh.
Bollywood's leading stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan will also be in attendance.

The nominees for the Best Film include Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Dil Dhadakne Do, Bajirao Mastani, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Piku.
Actors competing for the Best Actor in the male and female categories are Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Kangana Ranaut.
