Snapchat is all the rage, and your favourite celebs are on the bandwagon too.
By the end of this year, Snapchat is expected to have more US users than Twitter and Pinterest. (Who knew people still used Pinterest?)
Nearly one in five people are expected to use the service, and according to an eMarkerter forecast, we'll see an increase of 27%, with users jumping to 58.6 million in the United States.
Snapchat is estimated to have over 100 million users globally. People around the world use the app to connect with friends and family via pictures, videos or messages.
While some people may have risqué uses for the app, others use it to goof off and send pics that can disappear within a few seconds.
Snapchat has also proven to be an effective way for celebs and fans to connect. Fans are able to follow and "friend" their favourite celebs to get a glimpse of their backstage fun, daily lives, workout selfies and much more.
While celebs like Sonam Kapoor, Rihanna and Sonakshi Sinha prefer to have their Snapchat public and open to everyone, stars like Alia Bhatt would rather keep their account private for "sleuthing purposes."
Check out these 12 celeb snapchatters.
