We take a closer look at the Xiaomi M5 smartphone and the Lenovo K4 Note smartphone.

Major Features: The phone is rumoured to make its first appearance in the market at the start of the New Year. Tech experts are anticipating that the phone is sure to impress, especially with all the encouraging Twitter posts the Chinese company have written that reemphasize just how fantastic this new smartphone will be. The phone’s size is 5.3 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The phone will also run on the latest version of Android and it will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Storage wise, the phone will include 16-64 GB memory as well as 4 GB or RAM. The cameras include a 16 MP primary camera with great features like auto focus and dual-LED flash. There is also a 6 MP secondary camera. Other camera features include geo-tagging, touch focus and HDR. Plus, the phone will also include sensors like fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and barometer. Lastly, the phone will also have a 3030 mAh battery that can actually charge 60 per cent of the phone’s battery in 30 minutes.

Major Features: The phone will be unveiled in India at the start of the New Year. As a follow up to the K3 Note, the features and price are expected to be similar, while also including additional updates. Reviews surrounding the K3 highlighted that 50,000 K3 smartphones were sold in 5 seconds at a flash sale. This phone series is incredibly popular and tech experts had positive reviews about the phone’s versatility and how effortless it is to use. For instance, if the user prefers it, the apps that come with the phone can be deleted. Therefore, the features are expected to be similar with a 5.5-inch screen size and a resolution that has 1080 x 1920 pixels. The smartphone could once more include 2 GB RAM, plus 16 GB of memory with an additional 32 GB of memory via a 32 GB microSD card. Camera wise, a 13 MP rear camera, plus a 5 MP front camera are to be expected. Lastly, there should also be a 2900 mAh removable battery.

The Results
Both smartphones are a great purchase. The Xiaomi M5 is sure to impress with its amazing battery features that allow a 60 per cent of charge in 30 minutes. As for the Lenovo K4 Note, if it is anything like the Lenovo K3 Note then it is sure to please any user. Therefore, starting the New Year with either of these phones is certainly a great idea.
