Here’s a look at various tech gadgets released this month.
OnePlus 2 Smartphone
Major Features: This is the first smartphone to use Type-C USB cables, reversible cables that can transfer files at speeds of 10 Gbps and also shorten the length of phone charging. Additional features include a 5.5-inch screen with approximately 2560 x 1440 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 32 GB storage and a 3000 mAh battery. In addition, this smartphone will be running on its own operating software that combines the innovation of Android with the company’s own personalized operating software known as OxygenOS.

HP Pro Tablet 608 G1
Major Features: 7.9-inch screen with 2048 x 1536 resolution and a 1.44 GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor. There is a 2 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera. Audio features include DTS Studio Sound, as well as stereo speakers. Plus, Wi-Fi connectivity features like dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi to ensure consistently secure connectivity. An added bonus is the stellar 5900 mAh lithium-polymer battery which equals seven to eight hours of battery life. Accessory wise, the tablet includes a specialized pen, keyboard, dock, case and a protective cover.

Lenovo Ideapad Miix 300 Tablet
Major Features: 8-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, Intel Bay Trail processor and seven hours of battery life. The tablet screen’s layout includes tiles that reveal specific apps’ information in a preview format before opening the app. An added bonus is the free one year subscription to Office 365.
Price: $149
Sharp Aquos Pad SH-05G Tablet
Major Features: This tablet has been recognized as one of the world’s lightest tablets, weighing only 210 grams. The screen size is 7-inches, with 1200 x 1920 resolution and measurements of 174 x 105 x 8.0 mm. There will also be a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. Additional features include 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage and a 3900 mAh battery. Plus, there is an 8 MP main camera and an additional 2.1 MP camera. The tablet will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Major Features: The start menu will now include an expansion feature. In addition, there will be something known as Microsoft Edge. This is a browser that includes convenient features like Write2, which allows the typing of notes on webpages to also be shared with multiple people. Another feature is Cortana3 which acts as a daily planner or review finder that also allows a user to remain on a webpage while viewing Cortana3 information. Additional built-in apps like Music and Video conveniently use OneDrive to automatically store accumulated information and make it readily available on other Windows 10 gadgets. Lastly, gaming features on Windows 10 include the use of Xbox Live.
Price: The price is certainly the best part, because Windows 10 will be free to download on all new and previously purchased Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 devices.
