False lashes have always been a beauty go-to to get long, lustrous and voluminous lashes. Makeup companies have been stepping up their mascara game to compete with false lashes and, well, the mascaras are winning. So amp up your eye game with 4 mascaras that give you “wow” lashes!

1. Benefit Cosmetics BADgal BANG! Mascara

Benefit’s newest mascara launch has the beauty world buzzing! This mascara lives up to all the hype — it lengthens (like, really LENGTHENS), it thickens, it holds a curl, and it does not flake. Part of their secret is using aero-particles that allow you to load this mascara on, keep them perky, and not get weighed down by the formula. BADgal BANG! is also infused with ProVitamin B5 to condition your lashes while giving you that big, bold look.

2. L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise

I had been pretty loyal to my favourite drugstore brand mascara until I met Lash Paradise. The formula boasts being able to lengthen and thicken lashes (and it does!), but the real innovation here seems to be the wand. The wand has more than 200 wavy bristles that help you coat every single lash without all the clumps. This mascara is great for all-day wear and matches the quality of most high-end brand mascaras.

3. Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Waterproof Mascara

Don’t let this weird little wand scare you away — this mascara is incredible. It lengthens and defines your lashes, giving you that perfectly fanned out look. The tiny wand takes a bit of getting used to, but the size and spherical shape help you get to every single lash. The formula itself is infused with special polymers to ensure your lashes don’t get weighed down and hold their curl. Some of my absolute favourite makeup days were thanks to this mascara.

4. Maybelline New York Lash Sensational

This is a Holy Grail of mascaras. It’s one of those products I find myself purchasing over and over again because it just works so well and is so easy to use. The wand is specially designed to fan out lashes and get every single layer of hair. You can use one coat when you want a more natural look, or pack on 2 to 3 coats to get that wow-factor.
