The Citrus Restaurant, located in the hub of downtown Toronto resides inside of The Grand Hotel. Commonly known as the 'Hidden Gem' of fine dining in Toronto, the Citrus is host to delicacies crafted by executive Chef Daniel Marchetti.
Marchetti uses only fresh local ingredients to create classic dishes with a twist. Dining at Citrus offers patrons a variety of cuisines, styles, and flavours, ranging from Thai, Greek, and Indian fusion.
For appetizers, Marchetti offers 'Crispy Calamari' with a red chili glaze, sesame mango salad, and thai basil emulsion. Citrus also offers specialty 'Lobster Samosas' which is an Indian fusion dish that is a favourite of guests. Soups include a french onion soup with a port spiked beef broth garnished with gruyere cheese and baked crouton.

Lunch at Citrus find a range of foods from pizzas, sandwiches, and pasta. The mini lamb burgers are grilled with marinated cucumber, greek yogurt aioli and shoestring fries. They also have an open faced smoked trout sandwich with lemon poppy seed aioli, seasonal radish, dill and arugula on pumpernickel that is served with lattice potato crisps.
The entrees for lunch include a speciality shrimp spaghettini which has white shrimp, toasted chilies, saffron and grated bottarga.

At dinner, Chef Daniel Marchetti serves greek lamb fusion dish, called a dukkah crusted lamb rack that is topped with garlic greek yogurt, pomegranate reduction and served with oven roasted eggplant. Dinner dishes also include the farm rabbit that is slow braised with a triple crunch mustard and comes served with honey mushrooms and tagliatelle.

Seafood lovers don't feel left out as there is the grilled striped bass that is marinated with a miso cilantro rub, cooked with a sour tomato broth, and served with steamed greens.
Sushi Chef Eddy, who had previously worked with the famed Sushi Chef Kaji holds a sushi bar within Citrus from 5-10pm Mondays to Fridays where he presents his signature nigiri and sushi rolls for patrons to try. Chef Eddy offers a sushi with a twist named 'New Generation' which is layered patties of rice that is fried to a crispy brown. The second layer is a blend of tuna and salmon tartare with slices of scallops and a drop of sauce to bring in the flavours.

The Citrus Lounge is available as a place for refreshments, afternoon tea, casual dining, and late night cocktails. During spring and summer months, guests are able to enjoy a warm breeze while dining at 'The Terrace' overlooking a large fountain to give you serenity. They also offer a daily breakfast buffet that is famed for the french toast, as well as their large range of fruits.
