It’s not another bluff this time. It's official! After years of speculations and playing hide and seek, Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee finally tied the knot to Director/Producer Aditya Chopra.
Held in Italy on April 21, the wedding was as secret as their relationship.

Issuing a statement the next day, Rani said, “It was a beautiful wedding in the Italian countryside with just a few of our close family and friends with us. The one person I missed terribly was Yash Uncle, but I know he was there with us in spirit and his love and blessings will always be with Adi and me.”
A firm believer in fairy tales, Rani’s Prince Charming has always been by her side but the couple managed to keep their privacy intact by not confessing about their relationship and letting speculations do the rounds instead.
She added, “I have always believed in fairy-tales and with God's grace my life has been exactly like one, and now as I enter the most important chapter of my life – the fairy-tale continues.”

Before becoming Mrs. Chopra, Rani Mukherjee was a permanent fixture at the Chopra house. She was seen celebrating Diwali in a leaked photo which led to speculations that the couple is already married. However, neither Rani nor the ever silent Aditya Chopra ever confirmed they were a couple.
At the unveiling of Yash Chopra’s statue on the UTV Stars Walk Of Fame last year, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha accidentally uttered Rani Chopra instead of Rani Mukherjee which created quite the stir in Bollywood, confirming they were definitely a couple for sure.

Aditya Chopra’s younger brother and actor Uday Chopra also tweeted about the couple’s wedding. He shared, “We welcome Rani Chopra to the family…lots of love to the newly weds.”
Karan Johar was also not far behind in congratulating the couple. He shared, “And finally…Mr and Mrs Chopra…Love you both.” According to reports, Karan Johar was one of the very few select guests at the wedding which was an intimate family affair.
Rani, 36, began dating Aditya, 42, in 2008 and the couple has been going strong ever since. Congrats to the happy couple and here’s hoping we see more of the couple out and about now that they are happily married.
