NetIP North America is excited to launch its 22nd Annual Conference themed “Dare to Be You”. The concept of breaking away from social norms to spearhead the movement towards diversity in both professional and personal lives coincides with NetIP's mission to improve and enhance the community.

The 4 day jam packed event is an excellent opportunity to network and meet business leaders all across North America.

An exclusive event will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at SKY BAR & LOUNGE in San Francisco to mix and mingle with other professionals. This event is FREE for conference attendees. This year’s conference will include a variety of events that includes professional CLE and CME sessions, key note speakers, interesting thought-provoking panel sessions, and also first ever Fast-Pitch competition in which participants will be presenting their business plans and pitches before the professional venture capitalist judges.

On Saturday, August 31, headline entertainer Rajiv Satyal will be interviewing stars Arjun Gupta and Sunil Malhotra for his live podcast.

Arjun Gupta (left), famously known for his role as Sam in Showtime’s hit series Nurse Jackie, has also appeared in the movie Stand Up Guys that starred Al Pacino and Christopher Walken and has worked alongside alongside Uma Thurman and Minnie Driver in Motherhood (Killer Films).

As for Sunil Malhotra (right), some of his numerous film and television credits include Doug Liman’s Fair Game, American Desi, Happy Feet 2, House, M.D., 24, ER, Cold Case, The West Wing, and Half & Half.

The Smithsonian Indian American Heritage Project, a non-profit entity itself, will be the beneficiary of our auction at the Charity Gala. At the Gala, there will be a fast-paced live auction to attempt to raise funds within 30 minutes to match an already committed $10,000 matching rally sponsor!

This year's NetIP conference will explore several daring topics. While the sessions below are free and open to all, there are many optional sessions that require attendees to pre-register and that are already or nearly SOLD OUT!

Dare to Ponder the Universe with Dr. Savdeep Sethi
Dr. Savdeep Sethi is a physics professor at the University of Chicago with an exploration of String Theory. This highly debated topic purports to explain everything in the universe and flies in the face of many commonly accepted theories.

Dare to Outsmart your DNA with Dr. Jason Beeharilal & Ashish Mathur
Dr. Jason Beeharilal and Ashish Mathur will review common South Asian health issues, avoidable causes, and simple rules of thumb for being healthy. In America, not all the advice and wisdom about being healthy is totally applicable to South Asians.

Dare to Risk it All with Vishal Gurbuxani & Colleagues
Vishal Gurbuxani and his colleagues will recount their near-(professional) death experiences when starting their company. Entrepreneurship is not for the feint of heart or those lacking the utmost conviction.

Dare to Be You 10 Years Later with Dr. Sanjay Jain
Dr. Sanjay Jain will reflect on how his life was thrown far off course and how he clawed his way back to his purpose. Life is unpredictable and knocks us down over and over. We know it's not about falling, but getting back up.

A Comedy Show will be held at the Sunday night Charity Gala.

Rajiv Satyal, will be the headliner of the Comedy Night held on Sunday, August 30th . Along with Richard Sarvate who is a San Francisco-based comedian with an alternative sense of humor, known for his quirky observations and surreal one-man sketches.

Shanti Charan is a fast-rising fresh face in the Bay Area comedy community. She won 1st place in the 2011 Rooster T Feather’s Comedy Competition.

Ravi Kalyanaraman is a regular at the Purple Onion comedy club in San Francisco. He is known for his humorous storytelling abilities.

The Comedy Show is a first time event in itself combined with the charity gala night to entertain you in what will be a spectacular conclusion to our daring, inspiring, and scintillating Conference. See you in San Fran!
