Oahu, Hawaii – United States
The island of Oahu is the perfect family vacation spot and creates memories that you and your loved ones will treasure forever. The visitors at Oahu stay in various resorts peppered throughout the island. You should allow yourself a week’s time to fully enjoy what Oahu has to offer.
In order to see the island, you may want to rent a car or purchase a pass appropriately called TheBus, which costs $25 for a whole day pass. Highly recommended is a snorkeling adventure in Hanauma Bay. Located 10 miles east of Waikiki just off the main coastal road (Kalaniana'ole Highway, Route 72), Hanauma is the first Marine Life Conservation in the State of Hawaii and was named as America’s best beach in 2004.
For the summer session, the beach is open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m, except on Tuesdays. On every second Saturday for the month, the beach is open until 10 p.m. Hanauma Bay offers many activities like snorkel adventures and is a great way to enjoy the preserves. Known as the snorkel’s paradise, whether you are a novice or experienced snorkeler, the beach is located inside the ancient volcanic crater, which opens to the Pacific Ocean.
It also has a unique marine environment preserve that showcases the treasure of the sea!
Lake Louis, Alberta – Canada
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louis in Alberta, Canada is a perfect family spot in Canada for adventure and outdoor nature-loving family fun for adults and children alike.
Lake Louis is a hamlet town located in Alberta, Canada. The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louis is located in the heart of the Banff National Park and within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The resort and lake has been the site of the show ‘The Bachelor.’
The location is a great destination for a family adventure and fun! The resort offers family vacation packages. Visitors can also participate in numerous activities: hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking and rafting in the summer and in the winter, they will become a part of the exhilarating adventure and can do various outdoorsy activities like helicopter skiing, heli-tours, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice skating and horse drawn sleigh rides.
After a long day of fun, guests have a choice of eight restaurants to have their dinner. There is also an intimate wine bar to find dining near the shadow of the glacier – an experience you will never forget!!
Lake District – England, United Kingdom
Lake District is a well-known destination filled with amazing scenery, beautiful weather, and with hostels and hotels that offer unique diner fare.
This scenic region also holds treasures like Beatrix Potter’s – a famous children’s books writer. There is also a Lake District National Park, which encompasses of 500,000 acres of land with 12 of England’s largest lakes and country’s tallest peak, 3210-foot Scaffel Pike.
Of course, Lake District offers hiking, climbing, biking, and kayaking! Each year over ten million visit the region!
Base camp towns in Windermere and Keswick are equipped with guided hill walking tours, rock climbing lessons, and canoe and kayak rentals.
