Often called the "The Queen of American Lakes" with the cleanest bodies of water, Lake George is located in the southern part of the Adirondacks Mountains and encompasses all of Warren County. A destination filled with endless adventures like taking a swing on one of the county's nine golf courses, to taking in the fresh air and sights on a guided nature hike through the Adirondack wilderness. Waterski, scuba dive, kayak or sunbathe at one of the 20 plus lakes, Lake George has something for everyone.

Walk away those extra added pounds and exercise those feet and fingers at the Factory Outlets with over 70 stores for those bargain hunters who love a great deal. If you're a lover of handmade crafts or antiques quaint little shops can be found throughout the region.
For the months of August and September the Lake George Area will be hosting a ton of events and festivals check out some of the favorites; The Arts & Crafts Festival at Rogers Park, The Northeast Customs Car Show, Taste of Art-Wine Tasting and Lake George Jazz Weekend.
