'The MTV Trailblazer Award' went to Channing Tatum for tackling every genre from romance to action to comedy to chick-flicks. Tatum is the first male actor to win this award. Ladies now you have a reason to love him even more!
Academy Award nominated actor and producer Mark Wahlberg was honoured with the 'Generation Award' for his impressive accomplishments in the film and television industry.
Viewers also got to witness a sneak peak into the much anticipated movie The Fault In Our Stars starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. A tragic love story, the film is based on the bestselling novel by John Green.
Apart from Rihanna and Eminem’s Monster performance, Twenty One Pilots also performed live, this being their first on the grand MTV stage.
